Comfoolery!

Introduction

Comfoolery is a 32-bit Windows program that allows you to share a com port among one or more applications.  It depends on the DeviceComm Manager from Lantronix (tm) found at http://www.lantronix.com

Windows 95/98/Me/XP/NT/2000.

This is a tiny program compared to most Windows programs.  Installing Comfoolery will not affect the operation of other programs because it does not install any shared Windows software components.

Installation Instructions:

1) Download this file ComfoolerySetup.exe to your computer.

2) Run the file downloaded in step 1 to begin the actual installation of Comfoolery.

3) After installation, click on the Comfoolery icon to start the program, then click Help->About and then click on the "Readme" button for instructions or click here to view the readme.

Thanks to these folks for contributing!  With the total lack of donations save four, version 1.02 introduces the nag message on startup.  Hey, you can always download the original version if you don't want to pay a cent.

I would find it hard to believe that this program could ever bring any harm to any computer or associated hardware.  That said, however, I cannot take any responsibility for any damage (perceived or real) caused by this program.  Use it at your own risk!

As versions are released, they will be reported here.  The version number is on the main window's title bar.
